When Gabriel Martinelli easily went past Fiorentina defenders. The run that deserved a goal. Even he didn't score you could see that there were sign we discovered a real gem.
Tierney cross and Martinelli goal. 2 of Martinelli goals were after Tierney cross. Plenty more to come!
Even when we lost to City 3-0, Martinelli nearly pulled this off. When an attacker can receive the ball and toy with Man City defense, and at 18 yrs old too, you know they are special. Strong burst that deserved a goal.
Great movement from Martinelli to get on end of Saka cross. Martinelli and Saka have combined for 3 goals. Looking forward to seeing this combination again.
