Let's go a layer deeper on this. WTF is going on with #feminism to produce the boob armor dialogue? https://twitter.com/RokoMijicUK/status/1327909806569566208
The complaint underlying "boob armor" is that it objectifies women which leads to psychological harm.

There's an element of truth to this but exactly the same thing applies to men (height, strength, etc), it's called "bigorexia".

Exposure to superstimuli of sexual polarity is almost certainly harmful to both genders as we are unable to understand that the superstimuli are not representative of the general population, so everyone imagines that they're way below average on desired traits.
But why does the female version become a cottage industry of bullshit and virtue signalling, whilst the male version (e.g. bigorexia, height anxiety) is largely unheard of?
The core of this I think is that people (especially men) like to express sympathy for women and highlight women's problems, and women like to talk about their problems.

On the other hand, it's not seen as high-status to be a man with problems.
This foundation of feminism comes back (ironically) to evolved gender differences. Since men can impregnate many women, men are disposable.

If a man has serious problems, the optimal move for the tribe might be to put him out of his misery, shun him, etc.
If a fertile woman has serious problems, the optimal move might instead be to help her (extra care and resources) so that she can keep making babies.

But then if a woman doesn't have serious problems it might be in her interest to pretend that she does. Errors are in her favor!
I think feminism as we see it today is partly a gestalt memeplex made from the female drive to over-complain and demand more stuff.

That's not to say that women don't have real problems; but when you look at any female problem the male version of it is often worse but unpopular.
Examples:

- objectification: male version exists and isn't talked about (bigorexia)
- gender/sexual violence: many males are raped in prison but it's not seen as a problem
- work equality: money/status isn't worth as much to women as it is to men, it's mostly a fake problem
- domestic abuse: male victims are just ignored or not taken seriously
- sex trafficking: plenty of men are "trafficked" for labor (e.g. Pakistani migrant workers in the Middle East) but it's not a high-status, popular issue
You might think that this is bad because it means that women get too much of the surplus of society, i.e. men get a bad deal.

But it's worse than that! As @kaschuta has pointed out, #feminism is often a self-own.
How did this happen?

Well, we live in a world that has been shaped by masculine forces. War, business and science (masculine) have changed far more than mate-selection, childcare and socializing (feminine) since 10,000BC.
Feminists saw this and decided that women deserved a bigger slice of this new pie, and then used their complaining power to get it.

But the results have been really bad for women, because people generally do not thrive in environments they weren't adapted to.
There have been some exceptions though. Women are a distribution, not a point, and women on the right-tail of all the traditionally masculine stuff have benefitted on net from feminism.
But average women are unhappy because feminism has put them into a sort of over-masculinized torture chamber.

Feminism has also seriously broken the mating market.
Women would probably be better off in a world that was more flexible and able to cater to differing tastes and needs, and probably one in which professional feminists were taken down several pegs or at least had their power limited to certain geographic areas.
Women need an exit choice from the clutches of feminism; a set of places where there's a nice big gender wage gap, manly men and a functioning mating market, and where the basics of life (especially housing) are cheap enough that they don't have to work.
They also need to escape from wokeness-in-general which tends to pursue policies that degrade civilization as a whole, and in any case wokeness is absolutely not loyal to women and will discard them as soon as the new shiny woke thing comes along (this has already started)
... but this is hard because women are caught in an intra-gender virtue signalling trap where the one woman who doesn't agree with woke is shunned or seen as bad.
