LTNs are are a massive step forwards for people and for the environment, though they are often not perfect. More work is required around emergency access, for sure. (1/4)
However, I find the list of things the antis won’t agree on staggering:
Too many car journeys taken
Too many non essential car journeys taken
There was a growing problem with rat running
Its safer for children to cycle with LTNs in place

If these things can’t be accepted, then you have to conclude that the only interest of the antis is to keep enabling car journeys...

...in ever higher numbers, to the detriment of everyone in society, and to the environment. The dialogue needs to move on, unless they are comfortable having Nigel Farage as their key spokesperson. (4/4)
