/4 Have seen an increase in the use of "trans healthcare" as a catch-all term encompassing everything from therapy and surgery for adults, to sterilising and irreversibly surgically altering children. Ironic that this is used by certain individuals who insist on peddling >>>
/4 the fiction that anybody opposed to this is grouped together with anti-abortion activists (the tenuous link being access to healthcare), when in fact, the umbrella term of "healthcare" is more reminiscent of the evangelicals who would intentionally use "pro-life" to mask >>>
/4 their true intentions of being anti-abortion. After all, it is much more palatable to say you are "pro-life", who would disagree with that! In the same vein, who would disagree with "trans healthcare". Likely, very few. >>>
/4 but they would probably pause for thought at "child medicalisation". The PR machine is in full swing. It really is an ironic sleight of hand given their obsession with painting people on "this side" of the debate as being Conservative/Evangelical/anti-abortion/right wing etc
Addendum: the analogy is at absolute best horribly clunky, because if children of an increasingly young age suddenly all started having abortions, the first question surely would not be "how do we make this easier" but, "why are all these children having abortions". Priorities!
