Is our principle going forward that if someone doesn't want to answer questions they get a free pass?
2. Half a dozen brave anonymous whistleblowers who were literally in the room where this all happened had far more serious evidence than I brought to light and have been hung
out to dry.
3. As far as I know no one (no media outlet, not @Stanford, not the American Economic Association, anyone in the market design community, the @FCC the @NobelPrize committee etc.) has actually attempted any sort of thorough or impartial investigation of any of this,
4. Milgrom will receive the @NobelPrize next month and will continue to not just leave this behind him, but use it as a calling card for further profit on designing privatization schemes that he or his close collaborators profit off of.
So I am left wondering...if the "establishment" (mainstream media, top universities, leading economists, major government agencies) behave this way,
why exactly is anyone surprised that there is such profound distrust of our institutions that e.g. people don't want to take vaccines, @realDonaldTrump gets elected president, there are riots in the streets, etc.?
