A random eyebrows observation in the CBD on a random day led to a conversation with a very pretty stranger I'd never interacted with on this streets after I tweeted. The next two weeks were the most beautiful days for me tbh, it was like nothing I'd ever experienced with anyone.

The conversations just flowed, nothing was ever forced. I was so excited staying up to talk to her even though I'd be working the following day(I was lucky to be working for 2 hours a day), she made me smile like a fool throughout the day, I always looked forward to DMing her.

The first one week I was trying to fight what I was feeling for her as she kept throwing hints my way but she used really big English words that I at times had to Google the meanings (I loved the challenge). She is so intelligent as well, so we'd talk about different topics...

That made me so happy because at that point, I understood that she's interesting. She'd teach me about law & I'd help her with laptop problems (virtually) and I'd also tell her the other things I did. This was the best thing, finding someone interested in what I do

I think I started physio during the second week of November, she'd always ask whether I'd gone to the hospital, if she could take me(I always refused because I didn't want our first time meet to be in a hospital). She'd always ask how it went, in details as well.

During this time, she'd send me random selfies

. They made me so happy & not a day did she ever ask for mine & it stayed that way(I sent one, once to someone & I never heard from the person again

). I didn't want to risk ruining a good thing with a selfie.

When I finally sent one, she said "This is a face I don't mind waking up to" & I was dancing with Joy. Nikajua sasa hapa sijachoma

. We'd continue to talk for some days & one fine evening I told her that I really liked her. It was ile situation you text & throw the phone away.

Because you're afraid of looking at the reply, but she replied with the same energy

. At this point I knew hapa ni guthíí reu. We'd only talk for another 2/3 days then on a fine Friday, a date like this she suggested we do lunch. I was like sure thing!

I got done with physio and headed to the CBD for the date. We got to the restaurant at around the same time & brooo, this really pretty woman walked in & my mind was blown

. We had lunch then went to The Collective for some good music. I asked her if she'd be my girlfriend...
