Rules for surviving a violent mob (thread):
1. Situational awareness: Don’t be there. Have a plan: Know your exits, communicate, and if you see something, say something. Never ignore your instincts, if the tide is turning, make an immediate move.

2. If you’re already there, leave. Be methodical in your decision-making; slow is smooth and smooth is fast. Be a good witness. Get out first, then call emergency services (and don’t mess with trying to video on your way out). Live to fight another day.
3. If you can’t leave, have a means to defend yourself - because you have a right to defend yourself - and do not hesitate. The only bad decision is not making one.
4. Limit access to yourself; keep the fight in front of you. You can’t see what you can’t see. Have a survival mindset. Strike hard and fast, the goal being to make them regret the life decisions that led them to you. Fight like your life depends on it.
Rule 1 is the most effective way to survive; never stop looking for an avenue of escape. You have to mentally prepare -now- for each of the above steps. Stay safe.
