Then & Now:

I’m happy I was born in an age of innocence and ignorance. I had so much to discover. We questioned the metaphysical things not every tradition or ritual. Closer to nature, I learnt everything is governed by laws of the nature. And we surrendered to nature.

In digital age, humans biggest loss is ignorance. Even a 10 yr old feels he knows everything. He has nothing to explore/discover. While, I grew up in a ‘I don’t know’ world he grows in a ‘I know everything’ world. We were improving ourselves, he wants to improve the world.

That’s where the conflict of the modern world lies. I want to control myself, he wants to control the world. I want to clean my room first. He wants to clean your room first. I grew as a warrior, he is growing as a social justice warrior. I introspect. He inspects you.

This urge to control the world, to have social justice, equality without self-improvement isn’t possible. Hence, frustration, conflict, intolerance, depression. Drugs. Abuse. Hate.
The problem is not with the world as much as with that person who wants to change the world.
