#Inclusion is allowing everyone a seat at the table. #Justice is marginalized peoples rearranging the furniture, changing the meeting time/location, reviewing the guest list, establishing norms, and setting the agenda— so that everyone is truly empowered. 2/6
#Inclusion is treating all students with respect, regardless of identity. #Justice is creating an environment that empowers marginalized identities (and dominant identities) to truly understand themselves and their world and challenge unjust power structures within it. 3/6
#Inclusion is making an effort to hire more diverse educators. #Justice is empowering those educators to set school priorities/policies and deeply trusting in their vision and leadership. 4/6
#Inclusion is allowing for diverse perspectives to be voiced. #Justice is listening more deeply to the most marginalized voices, amplifying /joining them, and centering those perspectives and people in our collective path forward. 5/6
#Inclusion is making sure that nobody is offended. #Justice is making sure everyone is empowered. 6/6
