RPD has a habit of showing up when counterprotesters outnumber right wingers and disappearing when right wingers outnumber counterprotestors. Don't expect the police to be there to intervene or stop violence unless it's against right wingers

Remember, We keep us safe. Even though Trumpers might behave more erratically than kops, remember that the Kops and Klan go Hand in Hand. The police can and will assist, play favorites, and ignore illegal actions of rights wingers.

Never go out alone. Be aware of your surroundings and what might be used as a weapon against you and those you are with (Firearms, flagpoles, cars, etc). Also, remember that RPD selectivity enforces the no weapons at a protest law of NC.

Last Saturday was a clear example of what is discussed in this thread. RPD showed out in full force only when counter protesters showed up to a right wing rally.
