The main reason I love Bond is I always love seeing the good guys beat the bad guys. So here's every Bond villain realizing they've lost.
Note- Some shots coincide with their death. Not all. When did they know their plan failed?
-Dr No looking up to see "Chang" causing chaos

I've always maintained the true main villain of FRWL was Kronsteen. He was as arrogant as they come, until his death. You can make the argument for Klebb of course, but this was the more interesting image anyway
Soldiers start attacking Fort Knox while Goldfinger is talking to Ling. While he still has hope the bomb will go off, his nerve gas plan has failed
Largo wasn't aware the remaining bomb was disarmed so he was confident up until his demise at the hands of Domino
Blofeld ordering his men to "close the shutters" was the moment he realized that things were escalating. He still had a shot to start the war, but I feel this was the moment it starterd slipping away from him
Blofeld taking cover from the helicopters combined with his reaction to his lab being blown up is never not satisfying
When Bond pulls Kananga into the water and he spots the shark. Even before he swallowed that shark pellet, he knew he was toast
Scaramanga couldn't care less about his solar energy project but his only true defeat was being outsmarted by Bond
This one is interesting since we don't actually see Stromberg's reaction to the subs blowing up. So I'll count his first gunshot from Bond as that moment
Drax still has full confidence that since he launched the probes, he has a shot at winning. But his confidence was obviously shattered by the time Bond killed him. "At least I shall have the pleasure of putting you out of my misery" (my favorite villain line of the series)
Kristatos tried to knife Bond after this moment but I think that was for pure revenge. Being held at crossbow by Melina was the moment he knew it was over
Another instance where we don't see the reaction of the villain to his plan failing. But this was the moment he knew his quick escape was foiled from being held at gunpoint by Octopussy
Possibly my favorite shot of the lot. Zorin watches MayDay ruin his plan by sacrificing herself. His face is priceless
It's debatable if Brad Whitiker is the main villain or not but this is his face after Bond tells him his heroin is "up in smoke"
Franz Sanchez couldn't care less about his factory being destroyed. He truly knows he lost when he realizes that Bond ruined his empire because he cared about that DEA agent and his wife
Even when saying "For England James?" I think Alec thought Bond would save him. Nope. Also when the pen blew up, you can make an argument that his plan was over then
Electra was the main villain but she didn't get a true reaction to losing (obviously). So Renard's "she's waiting for you" face will have to do
Even with his plane going down, Graves was still in complete control. But next time, watch that parachute cord
There's a lot of film left but Le Chiffre losing his money is one of the better "I lost" moments in the series
It's blurry (because no shot can last more than 2 seconds apparently) but when Bond starts shooting in the hotel garage, Greene panics and knows it's over
This one is fascinating to me. Silva dies here, but doesn't realize that he set out what he intended to do.
You can argue it's the watch exploding in his face, but since the main plan was still active, it's definitely the moment Blofeld realized his helicopter was going down
Thanks for indulging my attempted distraction today. May the bad guys always continue to lose. Can't wait to add (hopefully) Safin's reaction once #NoTimeToDie
finally releases. Cheers!
