lrt i will defend all the pasupare members at the drop of a hat but chisato in particular bc she's the one who always gets misunderstood i feel like
i think it's bc people always make her out to be really mean but listen listen listen she's just been through a lot growing up in entertainment where there were so many rules integrated into her life since she was little
like i remember in the translated event story w kaoru and chisato and they're little and there's this one part and younger Chisato is talking about how they told her that she can't cry bc that's showing weakness and that's not something she can do if she wants to be successful
everytime I think if that im like NOOOOOOOO and feel bad but like that's the kind of stuff tbey taught to Chisato early on which is why she makes the decisions she does at the beginning of Pasupare BS1 and disagrees w Aya's way of doing things at first
she struggled to understand Aya but she wanted to understand her better which is why she joins Aya w selling tickets while it's raining and being together w the other members has shown her a lot of things and like SHE LOVES THEM SO MUCH she's so grateful to them and cares about
them and the reason she wanted to have a dream was because of Pasupare she literally says ever since she joined Pastel Palettes she's found herself wanting to be able to do that and she confronts the staff later and tells her that she does love Pastel Palettes and she literally
says “No matter how hard things might be in the future, I want to stay in Pastel Palettes. I love this band and these members... I want to keep going together!” so you can't tell me she's uncaring bc that's not true **it's not**
there's also this part in the translated Play Act event that i think about all the time about how she really treasures everyone's support that idk how to phrase this but like

evidence
THIS TURNED KINDA CHISATO AND PASUPARE CENTRIC ACCIDENTALLY BUT LJKE MY POINT STILL STANDS i could go on and on and on and on about this but my point is Chisato is very caring and does her best to support other people and I will put understanding into you if I have to
that's my ted talk
