The University System of Georgia recently released its 2020 Semester Enrollment Report. There are a few noteworthy items in there w/regard to GT, particularly when you compare the stats to the same report from 2010 (thread)
Georgia Tech now has a higher enrollment (39,771) than the University of Georgia (39,147), thanks mostly to GT's large (23,210) graduate enrollment.
In 2010, GT was 29.2% female. 10 year later, GT has only increased this number by 1.7%, and now sits at 30.9% female. Note that this report only mentions female and male, and does not mention the LGBTQIA community.
In 2010, enrollment numbers grouped by self-declared race/ethnicity showed that 6.0% of GT's student population had self-declared as Black or African American. In 2020, that number is down to 5.7%.
On this same table, the number of students who self-declared as "two or more races" went from 2.2% (2010) to 3.3% (2020). The number of students who did not self-declare race/ethnicity doubled.
As of fall 2020, GT has 13,125 Georgia residents, 15,374 out-of-state students, and 11,272 international students.
GT waives its tuition at a far lower rate than most of its USG counterparts
