Amnesty International, THREAD

@amnesty has a page dedicated to #Armenia. Articles appear to adopt Azeri & Turkish propaganda.

1st article: Armenians "cruel & reckless"
2nd article: "[Azeri] civilians killed" (cites Azerbaijani officials)
etc...

@amnesty chose this background
When Greece-Turkey conflict was in the news, @amnesty took the side of.... Turkey.

People "trapped at Turkish border?!" What does this mean? Residents of Turkey desired to illegally enter Greece. The responsibility, according to Amnesty, belonged to Greece.

Remember this?
When French-Turkey conflict was in the news, @amnesty took the side of, you guessed it, Turkey.

Gray Wolves is a far-right Turkish paramilitary network. The Dissolution of "Gray wolves" in France, considered by @amnesty as Hunan Rights violation! Islamophobia!

Remember this?
Wikileaks "AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL AUTHORIZED TO OPEN OFFICE IN TURKEY" 1978 May 18 (US Department of State, Review 2014)

"While AI (Amnesty International) assessments could be embarrassing, they probably will help defend Turkey"

Since 1978!
