Updated #nysenate absentee count numbers, courtesy of the @nysendems.

Sen. @KevinThomasNY, after trailing nearly 8k votes based on in-person voting, is down 35 votes, after winning about 73% of the absentees counted so far. He is a lock to win, with more than 13k absentees left.
Nearby in the 5th Senate District, @Gaughran4Senate has basically cut his in-person voting deficit in half, after winning about 76% of the absentees counted. There are still more than 30k absentees left, which is more than enough to make up the current 7,151 vote difference.
The 46th Senate District is a little different, because Democratic stronghold Ulster County hasn't finished weighing in.

@MichelleHinchey trails by about 6k votes, after winning about 62% of the absentees counted so far. She needs to win about 66% of remaining absentees to win.
Democrat John Mannion has cut his Election Day deficit in half - now down about 3,649 votes - after winning about two-thirds of absentees counted so far. He can win less than 60% of remaining universe of absentees and still win.

I would be on him.
. @SenatorHarckham is off to a good start with absentees (winning about two-thirds), but not many have been counted. Heading into this process, I already thought he was a lock to hold his seat based on the absentees returned.
It seems the best case scenario for the @NYSenateGOP is 23 members, while the @NYSenDems have a plausible path to controlling 44 seats. If I had to bet, my prediction at this point would be 42 or 43 Democrats in the #NYSenate.
