I don’t think it’s a stretch to say seeing thousands of Trump supporters in DC like this is uncommon. Their message is clear: Trump’s battle over the election results is vitally important.

As you can see from photos, many at this pro-Trump election rally in DC are not wearing face masks. MANY are not local and traveled from places such as Pennsylvania, Michigan, New York and New Jersey.
One of the themes I’ve heard from quite a few Trump supporters here is a concern about their freedoms: curfews, mask mandates, election integrity, 2nd amendment.

“God Bless the USA,” the song Trump frequently plays before taking the stage at rallies, is blaring in the streets of DC with Trump supporters holding up signs and waving Trump flags
I’ve seen very few counter protesters here so far but there are a few. Holding up signs reading “TRUMP LOST,” a few counter protesters were screamed at by pro-Trump folks

I’ve had bad service out here, which is a common thing when there’s large crowds. Signals get jammed. Noting this because I’ve heard Trump supporters saying DC and liberals are trying to silence them and block their social media posts.

Counter protesters are leaving the Supreme Court, where the bulk of Trump supporters are, and are heading toward Black Lives Matter plaza. They’re chanting “Fuck Trump, we don’t do what you want!”

Trump supporters and counter protesters faced off at Union Station where one man was punched multiple times by at least two people wearing all black. The man was left bloodied and fell backwards. VIDEO:
