Thread of NON-ALCOHOLIC beverages to serve your recovering friends and family:
Frozen blueberries, thawed, muddled with mint, splashed with lime, topped with soda water and sweetened with simple syrup to taste (I like .75 ounces per 6oz mocktail)
Mulled hot cider

Hot apple cider steeped with cinnamon, clove, anise, nutmeg, allspice and oranges. Caramelized orange to garnish.
Sparking grape juice
Nojitos (as in not a mojito)

Limes and mint muddled with simple syrup and topped with soda served on ice (bonus for crushed ice)

Add strawberry or mango purée to mix it up.
Non alcoholic Moscow mule!

Mice lime juice, ginger syrup, ginger beer and soda water for an N.A. version of the classic!!!
Pomegranate Bellini

Pom juice and a little simple syrup topped with soda and a lemon twist!
“Aperol” spritz!!

Build in a wine glass a splash of blood orange juice, then San Pellegrino blood orange soda, then sparkling white grape juice, and then plain soda water, garnish with lemon twist or orange slice
Cucumber Collins

Fresh grown up take on this lemony cocktail.

Peel cucumber to make purée, mix in lemonade, serve over ice and top with soda water, mint garnish optional!
Tequila free sunrise

Build on ice, add grenadine, OJ, I like a splash of pineapple, fill to top with soda water!!
The options are truly unlimited, and we have to remember to care for and always include our recovering pals during this time of celebration and festivities.

Alcoholism and addiction steals time and family from us, but we don’t have to let it!!!

No where did I say that this is suitable for everyone in recovery so stop acting like I did. These are nice gestures you can show your sober friends and family and you don’t have to give them cocktail/mocktail names! Know your triggers & act accordingly! I love u all! Stay safe!!
If your pals don’t want this, ask them what they would like instead of harassing me!

I like occasional mocktails, I like water and coffee! I am happy and comfortable with my sobriety!
