#2 Hardin Co. (10-2) vs. #1 Lexington (11-1)

Regular Season: Lexington 27-14
Lexington is looking to make their fourth ever Semifinal appearance (0-3 in such games), their first since 2010. Hardin Co is looking to advance to the Semifinals for just the second time in program history (only other appearance in 1998).
This is the first ever playoff appearance between these two programs.

Lexington and Hardin Co.’s last region loss came at the hands of the other team. Both teams were put out of the playoffs by Springfield last season.
Besides the meeting between each other, both teams suffered losses to Milan (Lexington by 10; Hardin Co by 8).

Neither team earned any of their wins by COVID forfeits.
