I assumed that b/c of his mishandling of the pandemic, voters would punish Trump. Especially those worried about their jobs.
That's... not what happened.
Many thought: 'Trump couldn't see it coming and there's not much he could do. Shutting down the economy will hurt jobs more'

I ALSO assumed that Trump's racism towards Mexicans and immigration restrictions would keep Mexican-Americans with Democrats.

Biden took them for granted. They were persuaded to vote for Trump through other ways (economy, religion).

We can understand why Latinos in Florida voted Republican.
It's a much bigger issue that Mexican-Americans across Texas, CA, Nevada and AZ moved towards Trump.
That should raise big questions.
