Its 2020 and people still miss the point of the film. Its not saying mentally ill people will snap and kill you its saying the government shouldn't cut important social services that help them get access to therapy and meds. And how those with power need to help those in need
And how we just generally need to be kind to each other and stop being jerks. As someone who has dealt with mental illness in her family I can say that this film is absolutely right about how important providing social work and meds is to those with mental health issues
I still love Fincher, but really don't agree with this take
