Because: what is strategy? Because: what does it mean to care about the left part of your base?
This is also why I’m usually pushing back on what is “progressive.” The way it’s often interpreted is to mean “a little bit left of the middle.”

The far progressive left are not the enemy despite us always being made into one. And no matter how much you pretend we aren’t part of the party, we prove we are the dark horse each and every time.
And if we’re being honest, this is why it’s hard for me to be upset when conservatives say how much Black people aren’t cared about in the current political system. We aren’t. It’s disingenuous but at least it’s honest.
