Folks, the 2020 election is one the greatest triumphs in the history of the modern Democratic Party. Right up there with 1932. We stopped a fascist in the White House. Saved the American republic as we know it. Hold your heads high. 
Being a Democrat begins with opposing fascism. We are always the opponent of the far right. And in 1964 we became the civil rights party. And we have abandoned neither pillar in this big tent party, imperfect as we are, while defeating Trump. Hold your heads high.
We opposed the disgusting infection of Trump, and made taking this government back - during a deadly pandemic - our central, unified goal. This will save lives. Hold your heads high.
We have defeated the disgraceful Muslim Ban. The Wall will never be completed. The State Department will be rebuilt. The Justice Department will be worthy of its name again. Hold your heads high.
We will re-enter the Paris agreement, and stop denying climate change. We will return to the World Health Organization. We will reinstate DACA protections. Hold your heads high.
And let me just add this: while successfully opposing a vast fascist movement and preserving the American republic, we elected the first woman *ever* - a Black woman - to national office. In our nation's history. Democrats, hold your heads high.
