Hey everyone, I’m in DC today for the “million maga March”, a menagerie of trump supporters, white nationalists, and grifters protesting the perceived theft of the election by Joe Biden. Proud boys are currently getting geared up in the parking lot of the Vienna metro station
My main observation is that I’m unsure how so many people got on the metro without masks on
There are so many fucking people on this bus, the ladies besides are talking ab their opinions on COVID
Proud boys are on the train now, greeted by cheers from everyone else. They are organizing into predetermined “teams” it seems. I’m trying to get a picture of one who’s wearing a “Kyle did nothing wrong” shirt

There is a guy to my left giving a very weird pep talk about how he works night shifts and his girlfriend wouldn’t come with him
This lady flashed a metal telescoping baton at the crowd. The guy who was giving the pep talk earlier is explaining how he saw Barack Obama smoke crack once
Proud Boys got off a stop earlier than I did, there is a massive crowd headed up from the metro station
I’d say every single person I’ve seen so far is wearing some form of trump paraphernalia

Just talked this group of Catholic dudes who are praying for trump to do to a coup. There is a helicopter flying very low but I haven’t been able to get a good look at it

Update-I underestimated how large this event was, I’m in the middle of the March and I can’t see the end in either direction. A lot of tension is building here
