We have here a thread of women sharing their memories of themselves doing field sports things. It's nice, it gives a bit of visibility to the women who just get on with hunting and shooting and fishing. It makes the group a place where they know they are welcome.
You can't be it if you can't see it, and examples of people who look like you is a massive factor in whether people do something new. Otherwise we think "It's not for people like me." So I welcome this kind of effort from men in field sports.

Head on. I never met a man who spoke about women like that who took well to criticism. It made women feel dirty and ashamed of their bodies and embarrassed when really it should be the man who is embarrassed. I even blanked out his name to avoid aggro about that.
I am even sadder about the response from some women to the reality that naked calendars hurt other women. It's porn, the softest level, but that's what it is. Objectification of women for male pleasure.
