The Danish Medical Association believes that the new epidemic law goes too far: the new epidemic law can enter into force if Denmark is affected by a coronavirus version 2.0 the word coercion is included 92 times and power 84 times https://www.dr.dk/nyheder/indland/drop-tanken-om-tvangs-vaccinationer-laeger-kritiserer-lov-der-giver-minister-meget?cid=newsletter_nb_5-vigtige-morgen_20201113063129
The consultation period ended on the 13th November, "where a large number of organizations can say what they think about the government's proposal for a new epidemic law." The medical association said:
- We believe that there are regulations that go too far and should be changed.

The professional association of general practitioners is also concerned about the new epidemic law.
- We do not think it is necessary that there is so much power in a ministry. We do not want to be part of such a powerful structure.

The two medical associations:
- We can not see the reason for vaccinating the population by force. It can give vaccine opponents tailwind if there are such instruments
-The Danish Medical Association believes that compulsory vaccination should be ´absolutely the last resort'

Under the proposed epidemic law, it is only the Minister of Health who decides when a disease is so dangerous that the Epidemic Act must be used. The government does not need to ask the parliament for advice.
Danish Nurses' Council:
- We are of the opinion that you as an employee must also be able to say no in relation to participating in a possible exercise of power. And that you can not be sued by a disciplinary body if you choose to do so.

The period of open consultation finished on the 13th November, there has been substantial criticism but the law has not been thrown out, the best outcome is a revision in which the mandatory vaccination aspects are removed. A decision is expected by the 13th December I believe.
