Because I get asked a lot, here is a thread of some websites I use to stay informed with ML research and resources.

I will explain a bit about how I use each.

I try to keep a good balance/control of how I use these services keeping information overload at bay.

⭐️ Twitter

This is no surprise. However, I rarely consume content on Twitter. I tend to maintain lists that I carefully organize to keep track of a few interesting accounts, research labs, and researchers.

⭐️ Papers with Code

This has become one of my favorite websites. It's already highly curated, well maintained, and contains additional resources like code that I tend to look at when looking through interesting research papers.

⭐️ ArXiv

I live on Arxiv. I use it more than I should. I am always exploring new topics besides those related to machine learning. I spend most of the time on the categories highlighted in the image below. No curation here but I always find gem papers.

⭐️ Arxiv Sanity Preserver

Built by @karpathy, this website also provides a bit of curation that I like (top hype and top recent). I believe the papers shown here are pulled from a set of ML categories on arXiv. Worth taking a look.

⭐️ GitHub

Although GitHub doesn't really have the best curation features, I still enjoy using it a lot. I love being able to randomly search and run into new awesome ML research projects, tools, and educational resources.

⭐️ Reddit

Reddit is a bit of a strange one. Most of the time when I go to Reddit, I find discussions around ML that I don't find interesting or useful. However, on rare occasions, I run into an awesome ML resource or demo, so I keep going back.

⭐️ Semantic Scholar

I love to explore areas beyond ML. A lot of ideas and inspirations come from unrelated research areas like neuroscience. Semantic Scholar has indexed over 100 million papers that I can search and use to create interesting feeds.

⭐️ Made with ML

This website is also curated by folks in the community. I sometimes find interesting ML projects and educational resources there. Very excited to see how it evolves. @GokuMohandas is doing an awesome job leading this effort.

⭐️ Newsletters

I love newsletters. I really enjoy the curation capabilities and commentaries of a few folks like:
@seb_ruder - "NLP News"
@nathanbenaich - "Your guide to AI"
@deliprao - "Page St Labs"
@jackclarkSF - "IMPORT AI"
⭐️ Miscellaneous

- Books have been helpful to me as educational resources
- A few news websites
- I am still experimenting with these websites as I see some potential: LinkedIn, Hacker News, and YouTube
