Why is everyone limiting the "cost of Brexit" to lost GDP? What about the actual, uh, costs of Brexit? The extra civil servants? The trade negotiations? The ferry deal? The "Get ready" campaigns? The customs staff? The lorry parks? The visas, the health insurance, the >>
extra paperwork for business? The extra haulage costs?

The loss of the EMA, EBA and financial passporting? The cost of replicating Galileo, Horizon, Erasmus - or the cost of not replacing them?

The cost of all that wasted government time?

The cost of the loss of soft power? >>
The cost of losing some of the finest EU and Remain workers? The cost of deterring millions more of the "brightest and best"?

The incalculable detriment that is the end of free movement?

Has anyone *actually* tried to calculate the true cost of Brexit yet? ++
(We have, as you might have surmised from the above, made a start. Eg extra civil servants and customs officers both come to at least £1bn a year. Any further pointers would be richly rewarded, with mercy.)
