Aus property thoughts thread

- Any investment or asset class is about finding value, not oversimplified narratives of bull/bear

- I'm invested in specific property classes (medical infrastructure & others) where I found value even at the peak of the residential bubble

1/
- Even now I'm looking at a premium commercial property with a long term view & heavily discounted price because of Covid (Sorry I cant say what it is due to NDA)

- When it comes to residential property that upside is often far more challenging to find

2/
- That is why data from @DFA_Analyst can be so important. It lets you assess the potential risks and downsides should you choose to buy.

- In some rural areas and others it may add up to buy in an individuals calculations, even after price falls are factored in

3/
- Ultimately the best thing you can do when it comes to property is do as much consultation, research and homework as you can before pulling the trigger.

- It's a tough environment & I wish anyone faced with these decisions the best of luck

*not financial advice
