-It’s okay for fiction to be immoral. There is no mandate requiring social responsibility. That’s up to you as the creator. You will reap what you sow, but never permit others to dictate what you make.

If you get into the business of “content creation”, people will periodically, possibly often, disagree with the very soul of what you’ve created. This is the cost of doing business. Embrace it.
-Don’t just tolerate dissent. Facilitate dissent. This normalizes it. Everyone is much less stressed out this way, and it allows people to focus on sorting out their thoughts and feelings instead of making it Us vs. Them.
Sometimes, it’s not For You. Sometimes, it’s not For Them. People naturally mistake “not for me” as “wrong”. Learn to tell the difference.
“Your character reminds me of X!” is not inherently an insult. It’s often the only way a person who isn’t part of our niche, arcane-ass community can convey that they “see the appeal” of something. They may not understand our rules.
Twitter Reply Guy isn’t always a bad dude. He’s often a pretty nice dude, actually. He’s just not good at this. He may not be neurotypical. You don’t have to let him walk all over you, but ask yourself: would you treat someone like this in person? Why do you assume the worst?
-Few things scream “RED FLAG, AVOID ME” like spurious call-out posts against other creators.
