2/ There are 3 types of #ENDF soldiers currently in #Somalia:
a) c. 4,000 in #AMISOM contingents;
b) some staff officers in #AMISOM's Force HQ;

4) Now there's the concern that PM Abiy will remove Tigrayan personnel from #AMISOM contingents & staff officers from its Force HQ. This would weaken the mission. Such a purge seems already underway back in #Ethiopia. https://twitter.com/RAbdiAnalyst/status/1327153519800020992?s=20

5) I don't know how many Tigrayan #ENDF troops are currently in #Somalia. But their removal would cause tactical/operational disruption. Plus if PM Abiy redeploys other troops to focus on #Ethiopia's domestic crisis this would likely weaken the FGS & benefit #AlShabaab.
