I’ve finally accumulated enough daily ZIP code data for Metro East and Warren County to share 14-day averages of new cases, which are now available on the site. 2/6 https://slu-opengis.github.io/covid_daily_viz/stl.html
I want to underscore the trends that the Pandemic Task Force discussed today - hospitalizations are climbing towards just crushing levels in the #StLouis area. This is more serious of a situation than any we've faced with COVID here in STL. 3/6
I’ve also released the latest edition of “River City Data,” which re-caps where we’re at with cases now and includes my interview with @EmmaCrockerDNP about nursing and health disparities in #StLouis. So grateful to hear and share her perspective! 4/6 https://chrisprener.substack.com/p/weekly-covid-19-round-up-111320
Tonight’s @StLouisCovid memorial is for Margaret Mary Hellrich. She was well-traveled, a life-long member of the Catholic Church, and had worked at the Sheltered Workshop. Ms. Hellrich passed away in August at age 58. 5/6 https://www.stlouiscovidmemorial.com/margaret-mary-hellrich/
