Secretary of State Mike Pompeo caused an uproar on Tuesday, saying "there will be a smooth transition to a second Trump administration."

Yet the day after the 2016 results were called then-Secretary of State John Kerry congratulated Trump and pledged a smooth transition.

RNC Chariwoman Ronna McDaniel has also backed Trump's challenges to the election results, yet interim DNC Chairwoman Donna Brazile congratulated Trump only a few hours after the 2016 election was called.

There's plenty of more examples, but the argument that Democrats refused to accept the results is patently false.
