the seraphine.. seraphina... whomever, league of leg character that has an rp twitter account, i think i stumbled across that last year and was confused because all the posts with photomanip with the character painted over a woman were so uncanny valley creepy

i remember wondering if it was sincere because it seemed so bad, like i thought it was a joke a la constablefrozen where ppl paint Elsa from frozen as a hipster, but i guess it was... real? or not REAL, just sincerely a thing

even Gorillaz, a fake band that has developed its own lore and story and interacts with real celebrities, is way more tongue-in-cheek silly about it and manages to skirt being creepy somehow
