I understand reminding Floridians to be safe, but discouraging families from gathering is gross to me. People like me will just live my life, but impressionable people will cancel because of this & that is antithetical to the attitude of your admin thus far.

Stop instilling fear into kids. Kids are now going to be scared of Thanksgiving and being around family because of this nonsense. I thought Florida had dodged a bullet with the over the top rhetoric but I guess not.

Finally @RonDeSantisFL you need to instruct the health department they don’t define what is “meaningful” to families. That isn’t their role.

One final note @RonDeSantisFL kids shouldn’t influence the plans adults make for their family holidays and the Health Dept putting kids in the position of bad cop with their parents is completely disrespectful of constituents.
