I haven't seen a footballing brain like Sancho's in a while. He's way better than Grealish for sure. Probably Sterling as well. Too much of his work goes unnoticed. 5 Minutes in and he creates this from a corner. Ridiculous.
7 seconds in, he feints rightwards. He drags out the centre back and pins down the fullback. He takes 2 players out and creates a 3 v 2 in the box.
How many man would dribble into thhe defenders, take a touch or take a blocked shot? He feints and sets it up perfectly for Mount. Most players mess up both parts. It looks easier than it actually is.
He spends very little time sprinting. He moves little and sprints in short, sharp bursts. He makes every step count and retains cardiovascular energy.

Here, he's trying to drag out the defensive mid to spin in behind and create a 2v1 with the fullback.
Listen to the commentary after losing it here. They think that Sancho hasn't done much. He's already created 3 chances (2 directly).
Sancho from this angle is so so good at creating the angle for the far corner and hitting it. His small feints and movements make the game seem so much easier than it is.
Creating 3 chances a game is for your KDBs/Messis/Eriksens. He did this in 30 mins of intl football half match sharp and scored a goal. He doesn't just do this against ROI btw. He was as good against Barca or the many Bayern meetings.
