So my sweet sweet bf, who is incredibly supportive of my work but can't write fiction to save his life, once gave it a try and came up with a great warrior named Scargon, because he had a scar, which is now gone (I know.)
Scargon can generate alcohol using his own sweat and can also generate his own heat so he never has to wear clothes. His great nemesis is Greekulus. Idk. We were tipsy. But the bf LOVES Scargon. Asks me to write the Tales of Scargon, which I never do, because, SCARGON.
Last year I got the chance to write a story for Star Wars. The only thing BF loves more than Scargon is Star Wars!!! We've seen every new movie together in theaters since we've started dating. He lost his mind with excitement when I got the contract! So I...did this.
Not quite the same as naming a star for someone, but I named a planet region in Star Wars for the love of my life. We got the author copies today :) Yes, he's delighted about his addition to the LucasFilm canon. Love ya, B.
