I've been seeing some discouraged tweets lately from new artists..
so lets talk about being an artist in the #cryptoart space.

My 2 cents about choosing a professional art career.

(Lets have a conversation)
2/ I've seen many tweets from artists saying

*that they won't make art until gas fees are lower
*really annoyed they haven't sold in a month
*pissed off at platforms for not accepting them
*and the like..

The hype and ease of selling lately created some sort of illusion.

3/ Now its time to ask yourself if this is truly your path.

'Growing up' professionally in the traditional art market makes you revisit this question often. Its hard.
I've spent thousands of $ on materials and studio rent, working in the mornings and painting in the evenings..

I sold my work for low prices in the beginning and it took time until a major gallery onboarded me.

There were times I wanted to quit. Get a 9-5 job and have an 'easy life'.

But I knew that that isn't me.
I needed to make art.
So I did.
Every day.

Ask yourself :
If I never make money from my art- would I still do it?

If your answer is no - question the artistic path you have chosen.

This is one of the hardest career paths to go on. Its a life journey of investing your soul and your heart.
6/The opportunities this space is giving artists is incredible.

Don't take it for granted.
Work hard.
Create. Create. Create.
Not everything needs to be minted and sold.
Don't let your creativity be affected by the pressure to sell. If needed, get a job.

This is a journey.
