Some Important Lessons and Tricks Learned in the Process

1. The Ebook
Pick a pain point to solve
Define your chapters/topic areas
Write out the content for each area in bullet points
Fill out the rest based on this skeleton structure

2. The Structure
Create the ebook in Google, Word, Pages
Format for easy reading (min. 14/16 font and remember readers are usually on mobile)
Add page numbers, content outline, intros and conclusions.
Remember the copyright note, edition number etc.
Add colour

3. The Design
Get help from sites like http://canva.com where you can create excellent ebook covers and other creatives easily
Create the cover and then resize it to all other platforms you want to promote it on.

You might appreciate having at least these creative formats:
Instagram post
Facebook and Twitter (can use same format)
Gumroad sales page cover
Pinterest (use same size for IG Stories)

4. Promotional materials and tools
Gumroad platform - To present your ebook
Email platform (or use the Gumroad one) - To keep in touch with an automated email campaign.
Social media platforms for promoting - FB, Twitter, IG, Pinterest etc.

Set up your user name/brand/profile on many different social media platforms.
You don't have to use all of them immediately, but it is worth while securing the name if you can!
