In terms of content...what is the difference between Flo and Rokfin....well start with who owns the content?
Flo buys the rights to content and publishes it. They also create content. If I’m a wrestler and compete in an Event put on by Flo or rights purchased by Flo. I can’t use that content unless it’s given to me free and clear.
Rokfin doesn’t want to own/create content, instead they want to be the vehicle that delivers your content to subscribers. Rokfin will of course look for the best creators to join their platform.
Think of Rokfin like a tollway. Use the tollway and pay the tolls. You still need to buy the car, charge the battery, and drive it. Handle the maintenance of the car...etc
When you get off the tollway you still own the car. Can take it wherever you want. But remember tollways are lucrative.
Flo on the other hand, will pay you up front for rights, you do very little other than compete. This assumes you’re a party that can receive compensation for your image and likeness 🧐
Content is king. If you’re a creator and can make 💰 off your wrestling, videos and ideas both platforms can be advantageous to you. Leverage them against each other, get two offers. Competition is good for wrestling.
