There still seems to be a hope that Nasdaq is implemented as a magic fix. The statement they made appeared to me to try and temper expectations from traders. It’s not a visible change, it’s not the route to gold. There’s already been transactions through it though which is great

Come Thursday, we have a better view of the overall market than ever. Information on trades has never been higher from FI and that’s a good thing. I liked the average price although there was a hiccup with the related screenshot

I understand people wanting to see liquidity. But it’s not something to conjure and it mostly has to come from us as traders. If MMs come in, they aren’t buying your bad bets. They are ultimately here to make money like everyone else, not be a phone a friend.

The features and enhancements announced put the market in a better place to attract MMs. Every improvement gives FI an easier sell to large investors. I do believe Thursday is a step forwards for the platform as a whole

There’s one thing that concerns me and it’s not FI. After each announcement, it feels like collectively there’s every trader holding their breath and if there aren’t rises, there’s a very quick fall. Almost in anticipation of the market dropping. It’s strange.

Keep in mind that on Thursday, things may need tweaking. Let’s not call for the end of the world, feed it back to FI and let’s get the product back where we as traders want it to be. Let’s not look for flaws, let’s accept new features can need tweaking. Thursday is a new chapter.
