Here's how Black erasure takes place in public ed politics.

Sonja Santelises leads an urban school district with 80k students, 76% Black, 13% Latino, 8% white, 1% Asian.

She has 30 years ed experience, Master's in ed from Columbia and Doctorate from Harvard.

but, this...
In my America there should be pride for all that Sonja has accomplished, the barriers she breaks, the tasks she has mastered, and the example she sets for our families and children.

If the Ravitchians and all her Twitter deplorables can't see that, we should help them see it.
No one should have the power to wave a white hand and block one of the best and brightest of our race from being considered to lead because they don't like the nonprofits she worked for, or because she chose a charter school. You'll nee to #BuildBackBetter than that! @JoeBiden
When did Diane Ravitch lead a school district? When did Carol Burris a system that taught Black kids? How long did Randi Weingarten teach?

From where to you derive your white power to determine this process?
