Earlier this year, I was blocked from speaking in Georgia because I refused to sign a state-mandated, pro-Israel loyalty pledge. I then sued the state over it’s unconstitutional law—here’s an important update on the case with one of my attorneys
In a blatant act of foreign interference, Georgia lawmaker said the Israeli govt asked her for the anti-boycott law. After I sued the state, she brought an Israeli official to the legislature to speak on shutting down my case. It was very principled for Jewish organizations @truahrabbis & @jstreetdotorg to back this lawsuit by filing amicus briefs. Even though they don't agree with BDS, they see anti-BDS laws as a serious threat to first amendment rights. I deeply appreciate their support in this case.
