I don’t know who needs to hear this, but Covid is real and it’s running rampant with more deaths and hospitalizations than ever.

I lost a family member this morning. She was only 41 and otherwise healthy. She leaves behind a loving husband and young son. (1/4)
She and her family took every precaution. We just heard yesterday she was doing better and doctors felt she’d turned a corner. Then suddenly this AM her body gave out after 10 days in the ICU.

Covid isn’t political. It kills regardless of affiliation or belief. (2/4)
It’s worse than ever because too many people brush aside science and medicine for politics and rhetoric. This isn’t about trampling on your freedoms. It’s about life and death.

Wear a damn mask. Stay home. Take precautions. This shit is real and it’s only getting worse. (3/4)
Sorry to be a downer during an exciting week. I love games and new consoles and the escape and joy they bring. But we’ve got bigger problems than not being able to find a new console in stock.

Please be safe. Cancel those Thanksgiving gatherings. Do your part. (4/4)
