My greatest hope is that we stop using the labels centrist and progressive since painting mostly Black voters as centrists & mostly WP as progressive isn't close to factually or historically correct.
I keep seeing people on here & IRL calling themselves "progressives" while denigrating the choices Black voters make, Black leaders & misrepresenting history.
People who have been fighting for freedom & equality since being dragged here in chains are called centrists while WP, the majority of whom have voted/fought/upheld white supremacy, are called progressive based on nothing other than being for hashtag politics.
BTW, the HT politics they're excited about mostly benefit WP, but we aren't supposed to mention/talk about that, bc if we do, we are sheep or neoliberals. Most of these WP call themselves allies & have BLM in their profiles while they do this.
