I think more than ever it's important for folks to know that disability isn't a competition.

It's not a 'others have it worse than me'. Nor is it a 'they don't have it as bad as I do - they aren't as disabled as me'.

Disability is broad spectrum. Legally and medically a- 1/4
disability is classified as a long term condition that impacts your every day life, whether this be mentally, cognitively, physically, or invisibly.

You don't have to check a desired amount of boxes.

You don't have to look or act a certain way.

You don't have to wear-
or use mobility supports.

You don't always have to be on medication.

You don't always have to be at the doctors or hospital for constant check ups.

You don't always have to be in pain.

If you have a long term condition that impacts your every day, guess what?
You're 'disabled enough'. You're welcome here. Your experience is valid and just as important as anyone else's.

You are enough.

Disability is not a competition. It just 'is'. There's nothing to be competitive about.
