Personally, I remain optimistic. How? As @JoeBiden is the presumptive winner, the EU position will harden. That means we have to choose between BRINO or no deal.

It's possible this made Cummings, Frost, etc, "impotent" in negotiations, so where is the value in them staying?

If a Brexit deal was in reality close they would've stayed (so clearly it is not and probably never was). If they have nothing more to add, they have wanted or been asked to leave (to disassociate themselves with either a BRINO (or worse deal) or no deal at the other extreme).

Politically, @Conservatives are unpopular despite no effective opposition. They know they have significantly overreacted to COVID-19 but won't u-turn to "save face" and the vast majority of people do not support these draconian measures. They know we know what BRINO looks like.

@brexitpartyuk candidates in @Conservatives held seats stood aside to save Brexit and @Conservatives won a thumping election majority on the basis of Brexit. If they renegade on this promise, their primary manifesto pledge, it will be remembered and there will be a reckoning.

In the short term, parties like Reform UK and Reclaim are coming into the picture. They could devastate the Tories' strength in the next set of local elections, whenever that will be, by causing a red Tsunami in the , making their job governing the UK even more challenging.

The current remain/globalist MSM are only going to report the pro remain version of events and ignore any pro Brexit angle, in the same way they're ignoring anything pro @realDonaldTrump in . Ignore them. They're biased, out of touch with ordinary people and arrogant.

@RishiSunak, @pritipatel and others claim to be Brexiteers. @BorisJohnson is perceived as weak and probably wants to reassert himself as a good leader. The only way that can happen is with a no deal and with his Brexit team out the door, with @RishiSunak as his successor later.

However, if I have miscalculated today's events and we do get stabbed in the back, then we keep fighting. Why? Because we believe in this great nation, , and in the strength, ingenuity, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of her people. In the end the people must come first.
