Alright folks. It’s that time again for our new music thread for this week. Buckle up cause we’ve got some really good songs in this weeks edition. Give em all a listen!
First up - Jason Lancaster ( @GoJason) who is one of the best voices and songwriters in pop punk. Period. Just dropped another new song from his forthcoming album (Dec 11th) and the song is called “If I Die I Love You. Oh man. Wow. Beautiful lyrics. Amazing song.
Next up - Luz ( @luzcorrigan). She did an Apple Music at home release and did just a gorgeous rendition of her song “unconscious”. She’s so talented and at 19, man her future is bright. She’s very good. Also - listen to her song “the author”.
Next up is Griff ( @wiffygriffy) with her song for Make-A-Wish - “Love Is A Compass”. I’m a big fan of Griff and this song is a very good one. Also, listen to her song “Good Stuff”. You’ll thank me later.
Next we’ve got joan ( @songsbyjoan) with their release of their “chilled” version of their song “cover girl”. They’ve got a very 80’s pop sound so it’s interesting to hear more acoustic type renditions of their songs!
John K ( @johnk) dropped his new album called “love + everything else”. My highlights from the album are: cheap sunglasses, happiness, if we never met and i.l.y.m.
Mokita ( @thisismokita) dropped a new song called “sleepwalking”. I gotta be honest, one of my favorite discoveries of the past few weeks is this guy. He’s got a great voice and writes awesome music!
And finally we’re going with a new release from a group called You Vs. Yesterday ( @youvsyesterday) - they just dropped a new single called “Hideaway”. Give some of their other stuff a listen if you’re into pop punk. Really like these guys!
One last song I omitted accidentally!! Judah & The Lion ( @judahandthelion) just dropped a new song called “Spirit” and it’s what you’d expect from these guys. Judah just has an awesome voice, love it!
