Sexual orientation is pretty obvious.
It has some grey areas, but its obvious.

Gender identity is not.
Its fluid.
Subjective.
Conditional.

Only those who are overwhelmed with the NEED to live as the other sex should transition.

LGBT is trying to protect those people.
But in their effort to protect trans kids, they have blinded themselves with moral conviction and refuse to consider the social contagion issue.

This isn't the same as high school girls kissing each other to get attention from boys.

Breast binding.
Hormones.
Amputation.
I understand what LGBT advocates are trying to do.

Kids in my age group in the late 90's came out in droves and we felt unsupported, targeted and alone.

Many of us grew up to be activists who want to make sure no other kid feels that way again.

But trans is different.
We aren't talking about gender dysphoria.

We are talking about medical professionals, school authorities, state authorities and LGBT activists demanding that any child or teen who expresses gender nonconforming behavior *is* transgender and needs medical intervention.
They refuse to consider that not all teens who question their gender are actually suffering from gender dysphoria.

Today gender is portrayed as this magical knowing one discovers about themselves. Its idealized. Romanticized. Celebrated.

But it has permanent consequences.
A girl in high school dating another girl to rebel can find she prefers women as she grows up or can abandon it all for a husband and kids.

But a transboy binds his breasts takes testosterone from the internet and then has a double mastectomy before he can consider consequences.
Trans and LGBT activists have bullied their way into positions of authority on the weight of our social experiences from the late 90's and silence, shame, ban and intimidate anyone who now questions their methodology and their actions.

But we must keep challenging them on this.
