wanna know what, in my humble opinion, is the worst part of being a woman at riot?
it's being jeered at, humiliated, put down by people who have little to no idea what it's like being a game dev or rioter, much less a female one.

when players tell me I'm not treated well, ask me why i stay... like... are they kidding me? are these readers of online articles & discussions srsly trying to explain to me, a woman at riot, what my work experiences ACTUALLY are and how i should feel about them??

i can't imagine anywhere else i could have grown & learned & felt & accomplished so much. I'm surrounded by geniuses, i get to be nerdy and silly af, and i super care about what i work on. plus i get to know lots of secrets before youuuuu do

over the years, riot has been my work + school + passion, chock full of bumps & bruises, challenges & successes. I'm so proud of how my colleagues have weathered it together, both celebrating and grieving. always growing, ready for next steps.
