All UT employee salaries between 50-150k were cut by 5%. Assuming this effects a lot of people. But the dude making 1.6 mill won’t budge to help?This is some weak ass shit that pisses me off as an alum.
Maybe I am over-reacting but this type of behavior tells me all I need to know about the type of people you are and how much you care about other people around you that HELP YOU DO YOUR JOB.

I have clearly not calmed down.
A 5% cut of Jim Chaney’s salary is $80,000. By taking 5% less, you could keep someone employed. Take a 15% cut like Phil Fulmer has done and you could keep half a dozen people who work for YOUR team employed. Unbelievably selfish.
And, yes, there is an entirely different side of this discussion about the insitutions in college sports spending WAY over their skies that has to be taken into account (and fixed). But that feels like a seperate but parallel conversation to me.
